Endodontics Then, Now And In The Future
Dr. Brian D Jafine graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1980 and was awarded the American Association of Endodontists Endodontic Certificate of Merit in Endodontics. Dr. Jafine went on to receive his post-graduate degree in Endodontics from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1983.
Dr. Jafine is past president of the Canadian Academy of Endodontics, the Ontario Society of Endodontists and the George Hare Endodontic Study Club. Dr. Jafine served on the American Association of Endodontists Continuing Education Committee and the International Relations Committee. Dr Jafine was a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry for over 15 years in both the undergraduate and post-graduate Endodontic Department. He was Chief of Dentistry at Peel Memorial Hospital for 5 years. Dr Jafine is an invited Fellow of the International College of Dentists, The American College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Jafine has given over 50 clinical presentations in North America and around the world and has authored several scientific publications.
Dr. Jafine’s emphasis is on patient comfort utilizing the most up to date equipment and techniques to provide the highest quality of care for his patients requiring endodontic treatment. He is skilled in all areas of endodontics (conservative and microsurgical endodontic treatment in addition to both surgical and non-surgical retreatment procedures).
