TOPIC
Endodontics Then, Now And In The Future
Course Overview
During the past two decades there has been an explosion of new dental/endodontic materials and technology, yet this is not reflected in the success rate achieved in many dental procedures.
Dentistry has been overwhelmed with a deluge of new products and techniques which are complicated by dental politics, controversy, conflicting scientific research and the need for dentists to stay competitive.
We will examine the past, present and future of many endodontic topics and problems and provide what we feel are the best solutions (evidence based):
- DIAGNOSIS (one hour)
- ENDODONTIC EMERGENCY TREATMENT (two hours)
- THE USE AND ABUSE OF ANTIBIOTICS AND OPIOIDS (one hour)
- GENTLEWAVE (one hour)
- LASERS (one hour)
- IMPLANTS/ENDODONTICS…WHAT SHOULD I DO?? (two hours)
- MEDICATION-RELATED OSTEONECROSIS OF THE JAW (MRONJ) (one hour)
- TARGETED ENDODONTIC MICROSURGERY (one hour)
- MAXILLARY SINUSTITS OF DENTAL ORIGIN (one hour)
- APEXOGENESIS, APEXIFICATION, DIRECT PULP CAP, AND REGENERATIVE ENDODONTICS (one hour)
