Dr. Steven Faigan is a Certified Specialist in Periodontics with 30 years of experience. He received his Dental degree from McGill University and graduated from Boston University with both a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in General Dentistry, and with a specialty degree in Periodontics and Oral Biology. He has been a periodontal consultant to the British Columbia Cancer Agency, and is a past president of the BC Society of Periodontists. He is a past Associate Clinical Professor at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry and is the founder and mentor of the Okanagan Periodontal Study Club established in 1995. Dr. Faigan has always been actively involved in providing continuing education programs nationally and internationally and maintains a private specialty practice in Kelowna, BC with a particular interest in cosmetic periodontal and implant surgery with a restorative driven approach.
