This course will focus on a patient – centered practice mentality. Emphasis will be placed on practice modalities designed to serve the patient first.

Business Practices
This course was designed to educate dental professionals on business skills required to run a successful practice. Emphasis will be placed on success as a learned behaviour.
Learning Objectives: At end of session attendees should be able to identify:
• The economics of a dental practice
• Key Information included in Practice Management Software
• Effective tracking of patient information and procedure statistics
• Effective practice systems – to increase efficiency and saleability
• The selling of service – increase treatment acceptance, generate referrals
Transition Selling
This course will focus on transition phase of selling a practice. Emphasis will be placed on assistance with preparation of a properly written succession plan for transition and exit of ownership.
Learning objectives: At end of session attendees should be able to:
• Identify all important items of a pre-sale checklist and all basic transition items
• Understand where each transition should be introduced during the selling
process
• Identify items within the critical path timeline
• Recognize how practice values are determined in today’s market
