Course Description
Part I: Enhancing the Beauty and Longevity of Implant and Tooth Supported Restoration
This presentation with a strong clinical emphasis, will review the fundamental diagnostic and surgical principles and techniques essential to achieving the triad of enduring esthetics, function and health in dentistry. The focus will be on moving away from short term gain, with an emphasis on achieving long-term stability when treatment planning and executing periodontal and peri-implant surgery.
Part II: Dental Implants are not Teeth! Proactive Measures to Diagnose, Prevent and Manage Peri-implant Diseases.
Biofilm induced and host mediated inflammation is the principal etiology of both periodontal and peri-implant diseases. This presentation will review both proactive and reactive non-surgical and surgical approaches, including the use of Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) and patient centered homecare customization as a systematic and evidenced based protocol for managing biofilm and achieving symbiosis for both periodontal and peri-implant diseases.
Benefits of Attending
Learn pragmatic and applicable periodontal and peri-implant surgical and non-surgical approaches and philosophy with a strong clinical emphasis in a relaxed and interactive atmosphere from an experienced educator and clinician with over 30 years of experience.

- Formulate evidence-based surgical and non-surgical treatment plans that prioritize long-term stability over short-term restorative outcomes.
- Implement systematic biofilm management protocols, including Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), tailored to individual patient risk profiles for both periodontal and peri-implant maintenance.
