Dr. Jim McGorman – Antibiotics, Travel Medicine, Pain Control – 4.5 hours CE
Dr. Jim McGorman was born in Stratford in 1958. He lives in Peterborough with his dentist wife, Dr Judith Buys & their 2 sons. An avid outdoorsman, Jim is also active in tennis, badminton, volleyball, cycling, baseball, golf and enjoys adrenaline sports like rock climbing & white water canoeing. Dr. McGorman continues to work in Emergency medicine, Addiction and chronic pain at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Extensive travel has included journeys to almost every province and territory in Canada, the high arctic, Yukon and Alaska, South America, Galapagos, Europe, much of the contiguous USA, Australia and Africa. A published author, Jim wrote his first novel, “The Ale Sea” – a great read for lovers of mystery and fantasy – a wonderful storybook for children & adults alike!
Dr. Jack Lipkin – Prosthodontics & Implants – 7.5 hours CE
Dr. Lipkin obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Manitoba in 1970, and his D.M.D. from the University of Manitoba in 1974. In 1979, Dr. Lipkin received his certificate of Fixed Prosthodontics from the State University of New York at Buffalo, New York. A full time practicing prosthodontist since 1979, Dr. Lipkin is co-founder of Kennedy Professional Seminars & actively involved in many dental associations including most recently: past president of American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. A self proclaimed foodie, Dr. Lipkin loves spending time in his own gourmet kitchen & has enrolled in various cooking classes around the world. Residing in Winnipeg, Dr. Lipkin & wife Debbie, have 2 daughters & are proud Grandparents of their new first granddaughter.
