Dr. Jack Lipkin
Dr. Lipkin is an assistant professor in the Department of Dental Diagnostic and Surgical Sciences, School of Dentistry, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba. As past President of the Winnipeg Dental Society, Dr. Lipkin has served on many boards of the Manitoba Dental Association. He is a member of the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada; Canadian Dental Association; Chicago Dental Society ; Academy of Osseointegration; and has served on the board and is past President of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. Dr. Lipkin has published articles in the Canadian Dental Association Journal and Family Health. He has lectured nationally and internationally on Prosthodontics, and is a Fellow of both the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the International College of Dentists. Dr. Lipkin and his wife Debbie, live in Winnipeg, and are the proud parents and grandparents of two grown daughters, son-in-law, and their granddaughter.

Dr. Leonard Smith
Across nearly 50 years as a pediatric dentist, Dr. Leonard Smith has been an outspoken advocate for fundamental change in the way parents, professionals and governments view and deliver dental care. Dr. Smith earned his dentistry degree from the University of Alberta in 1968; he received his MSc and certification in pediatric dentistry from Ohio State University in 1972. His appointments include positions with Alberta Children’s Hospital, Calgary General Hospital and the University of Manitoba. A Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Dr. Smith is Chair and CEO of The Society for a Healthy Mouth, Healthy Child (Alberta), and The Foundation for a Healthy Mouth, Healthy Child (U.S.)—both are non-profit charitable organizations dedicated to eradicating early childhood caries (ECC). Dr. Smith is a former Chief Examiner, Pediatric Dentistry for the British Columbia College of Dental Surgeons. Currently, he continues in private dental practice while serving as Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatrics, University of Calgary Faculty of Medicine.
